ELVIS SAKIRI 


Elvis Sakjiri was born in Tetovo – Macedonia, coming from a Roma family. He graduated Law in the South East European University and he is currently a postgraduate student in Criminal Law. Elvis is an activist for Roma rights and in the past 8 years he has been working in several NGO’s. He was also working as a tutor in primary school and he is Roma education mediator. In 2011 he worked as a legal advisor in HOPS (NGO) based in Skopje. He is maintaining and leading the group of "Roma Young Lawyers" noted as a group fighting against the discrimination of Roma, especially in the media. Recently, he won the case against the Ministry of Education, which was about misrepresentation of Roma in a derogative image in a primary school book. From 2011, independently, he published an analysis named as “Unprofessional Journalism”. Elvis Shakjiri is one of the executives of Romalitico - the first Roma policy analyses portal, dedicated to the Law analyses.



AHMET JASAREVSKI


Ahmet is Born on 18.October 1965 at  the Roma tradicional family Kumanovo ,since 1990 he is so active on the Human and Social Right on the Romani issues at Local, Regional and International level. He is still work at him city help for the Romani Students for scolarship, health program and more

ROMANI ROSE

Romani Rose (born 1946 at Heidelberg, Germany) is a Romany activist who lost 13 relatives in the Holocaust of the Nazi purges against the Romani people and Jews and head of the Central Council of German Sinti and Roma.

Rose was born in Heidlelberg in 1946. Until 1982 he lived there as an independent businessman. At the founding of the Central Council in 1982 he was voted to the position of Chairman by the delegates of the member organisations – then nine, now 16 state and regional associations – and since then has been confirmed in his post every four years at the member meetings. From 1991 Rose overtook the management of the Documentation and Culture Centre of German Sinti and Roma in Heidelberg. For years he has been known by the federal and state governments for his resoluteness and for his persistent and unyielding work.

SUAD SKENDERI 

Suad Skenderi holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and International Relations from FON University. Suad has been working in the Humanitarian and Charitable Roma Association “Mesecina” from Gostivar as an assistant of the sector for human rights and inter-ethnic relations and later as a coordinator of the youth initiative. He was also coordinator of local "Blue sky" club in Gostivar. Suad Skenderi is one of the executives of Romalitico - the first Roma policy analyses portal and part of the Barvalipe initiative. He recently finished “Roma Graduate Preparation Program” and enrolled in the Masters program of Political Science in the Central European University in Budapest.
